In the end om March, the annual hobby fair entered the wonderful facilities at Aeroseum air force museum! A lot of visitors, many interested people and the first 1/4 scale RC tanks that Minipansar had to show made their debut this year! As you mentioned, Eric, it weighs 8tons and it's a small tank. The turret looks to have enough room for you and Martin. How much extra room did the turret have, and was comfortable for you? @@rb67mustang The tank is very cramped inside, it's definitely made for smaller people and there's not much space inside the turret. 😊

So all I have to do is get a garage full of woodworking machinery, a 3D printer, some metal fabrication equipment, and a spray paint booth. Seems simple enough.

Thank you very much for your help and advise I now have 1/8 BTR-82 moving under its own power with a 12V screwdriver. If I wanted to use a 14 or 18v screwdrivers to power a model what esc would you recommend? Many thanks Glen
@@glendavis8625 That's aweseome to hear, congrats! I can't recommend a certain esc for over 12 V, but I would suggest you have a look at Amazon, eBay, or any of the other world wide shopping sites, there are plenty of cheap esc:s that can take higher voltage there.

Hey, aren't you going to do it in scratch build anymore? Will it no longer be made out of wood and metal? Now will everything be done using a 3D printer? I got sad.
@@ateliedemaquetes.aereoenav4894 Hi! This is a model made by @hagbergscorner and he is doing tanks from scratch as well, using plywood and all kinds of material. Personally, I haven't made any fully 3D-printed tank, with the exception of the 1/16 fm21, but it is an east way to get into the hobby and therefore well worth its own video. Check out my latest video, an update of the 1/4 Renault AMR-35, it's definitely made of plywood. 😊
